THE SECOND
INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON SPORTS AND MUNICIPALITY
is being organised with the idea of creating a forum for
the dissemination, study and promotion for sports, which
this year will revolve around Olympic sports, with special
emphasis on the direction to be taken by a city for organising
some Olympic Games.

To analyse the motivation
of the cities in presenting their candidacies as organising
centres for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
To discover how to prepare
an Olympic project and the way in which a project
of this scope is evaluated.
To display and present different
organisational models for some Olympic and Paralympic
Games.
To analyse the legacy handed
on to a city after holding some Olympic and Paralympic
Games, in its different aspects: sporting, social,
cultural, economic, environmental, etc.
